Investment and innovation meet at Next Lab Finance & Tech to boost the spanish animation and video games industry

Among the leading national and international investors participating are Bitkraft, DeaPlaneta Entertainment, Elipsis Capital, Joystick Ventures, New Renaissance Ventures and Triple Dragon. In addition, Invest in Spain-ICEX, Spain Audiovisual Hub, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Culture and Sport - ICAA / Cultural Industries will also be present.

The Spanish animation and video game industry will meet some of the industry's most important investors and financing funds at Next Lab Finance & Tech on 28th and 29th June in Pamplona (Navarra). This event, supported by the Government of Navarra through the public company NICDO and sponsored by ICEX, aims to promote the audiovisual and technology industry in our country by facilitating access to new financing channels.

This second edition will be attended by leading national and international funds such as Bitkraft, DeaPlaneta Entertainment, Elipsis Capital, Joystick Ventures, New Renaissance Ventures and Triple Dragon. In addition, public administrations such as Invest in Spain - ICEX, Spain Audiovisual Hub, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Culture and Sport - ICAA / Cultural Industries, the Official Credit Institute (ICO), CREA SG, the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI) and ENISA will also attend the event.

During the two days of the meeting, the participating companies will be able to meet with these and other funds and investors to present their projects and find out about their financing possibilities. This unique opportunity within the industry has been made possible thanks to the joint efforts of ICEX, Invest in Spain and the Next Lab Finance & Tech organisation.

Workshops, round tables, conferences and case studies specialising in animation and video games.

Next Lab Finance & Tech will also include workshops, round tables, conferences and specialised case studies to analyse and explore the financing of the sector, show how the latest innovations are being applied and discover how the animation and video game industry can take advantage of new technological tools.

One of the workshops will be "How to draw up a good business plan", which will teach the basic concepts of a business plan, from its beginnings to how to approach it depending on the objective you have or who you are presenting it to (looking for funding, getting investors, increasing capital...).

There will also be a workshop on generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will explain, step by step, how to approach this new tool, how it works and how animation and video game companies can make the most of it.  In addition, representatives of public administrations will participate in the conference "Financial instruments and public aid for companies in the audiovisual industry, video games and immersive content".

Apart from meeting investors and institutions, Next Lab Finance & Tech attendees will also have access to other companies, co-producers, technology companies, consultants and decision makers from the animation and video game industry, which will allow them to create synergies and establish new contacts and collaborations. Attendees will have access to a platform to arrange meetings during the event and create a tailor-made agenda.
